DonutSMP Items Guide — Every Worth-Buying Item Ranked

There are dozens of items in DonutSMP. Most aren't worth buying. A few are essential. This guide ranks every major item by gameplay impact and value-per-dollar.

The S-tier (buy first)

Fully Enchanted Elytra ($54.99) — Mending + Unbreaking III. The single biggest mobility upgrade in the game. Once you have one, the map shrinks 10x. No serious player goes without one. Worth it analysis →

Iron Golem Spawner (~150M coins / $15 retail) — 8-15M coins/hr passive. Highest ROI item in the game. Pays itself off in days.

1M DonutSMP Money — The universal currency. Everything in the game routes through coins. $0.10/M at Donut Depot is the cheapest legit rate.

The A-tier (high value)

Skeleton Spawner ($0.49 at Depot / ~30M coins) — Cheap entry to spawner ROI. Generates bones for /order or for processing into bone blocks (which sell at 525+ each).

Wither Skeleton Spawner (~250M coins) — Wither skulls for beacons + Nether stars. Long-term hold, premium item.

The B-tier (situational)

Blaze Spawner (~120M coins) — Blaze rods for potion crafting. Steady demand but lower per-hour than golem.

Ghast Spawner (~180M coins) — Ghast tears for regen potions. Premium PvP supply chain.

Pigman Spawner (~80M coins) — Gold drops, easy XP. Mid-tier earner.

Netherite Kit (~80M coins) — Full set of netherite armor. Standard endgame gear.

The C-tier (mostly skip)

Server Ranks — Cosmetic + small perks. Ranks worth buying analysis →

Decoration items — Beacon, dragon head, special blocks. Cool, but no income or PvP value.

Standard tools/weapons — Iron, diamond, even basic netherite without good enchants. Easy to grind, not worth paying for.

The D-tier (avoid)

Stock unenchanted Elytras — Pay $20-30 more for fully enchanted. Stock dies in 5 flights.

Random PvP gear from sketchy sellers — Mid-quality enchants, often duped. Get them from legit shops or enchant your own.

Crate keys you don't have items to convert — If you're not actively dumping/using the contents, you're just gambling.

How to prioritize buying

For most players:

1. First 100M coins (~$10) — opens up spawners and AH flipping
2. First Iron Golem spawner (~$3) — passive income engine
3. Fully Enchanted Elytra ($55) — mobility unlock
4. Second spawner (Wither Skeleton or another Iron Golem)
5. God Apples for PvP (~$15-30 for a stack of 10-20)
6. Optional cosmetics/ranks if you have spare cash

This sequence gets you to 95% of the gameplay experience for ~$80-100 total spend.
